Dermaceutic acid peel treatments
The acid peel treatment consists of the application of one or more exfoliating active ingredients to cause a controlled form of skin damage. Thus, a layer of damaged and dead cells is removed from the surface of the skin.
The skin is regenerated, while the skin functions and vitality increase, and signs of ageing and rashes are corrected. Clinically proven, medical-grade acid peels provide excellent results in a short time, while they are safe and well-tolerated.
The professional Dermaceutic Milk Peel acid facial is designed to restore the skin’s vitality and firmness, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce the appearance of rashes.
Active ingredients: Glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid – (pH 1.7).
Result:
• Smoothing of fine lines;
• Better regeneration of the skin;
• Improved firmness and tone;
• Smoother skin texture and colour;
• Reduced hyperpigmentation;
• Epidermal stimulation;
• Reduced rashes;
Treatment duration – 30 min.
Cost – EUR 79.
Treatment sessions:
After the first treatment, you will immediately notice changes in your skin, including: brightening of the skin, increased vitality, a reduction in the appearance of rashes, and a decrease the depth of fine lines and wrinkles. In order to achieve long-lasting results, you will need additional treatment sessions (2-4 sessions), depending on the current indications. The chemical peels are performed every 2-3 weeks. It is important to use a sunscreen (SPF 30-50) during the treatment period.
What should I know after the treatment?
• On the first day following the treatment, the skin will be more sensitive, as well as being prone to redness and scaling.
• On Day 2 or 3, the skin may become drier and scaly, which is quite normal; you will only need to use soothing and moisturising creams more frequently than usual (3-4 times a day). During the following week, AHA/BHA and TCA acids will activate the physiological skin processes responsible for keeping the skin moisture balance to ensure dryness is no longer experienced.
• During the first 5-7 days, small rashes may appear. This is a pseudo-allergic reaction to the stimulated deeper layers of the skin, which will disappear spontaneously within a few days.
It is important to know:
• You should avoid going to a sauna or staying close to direct sources of strong heat, as this can exacerbate the skin’s condition after treatment with AHA/BHA and TCA acids.
• Avoid direct contact with active chemicals for the first few days.
• During the week, avoid prolonged and direct exposure to UVA/UVB and TCA rays from tanning salons, sunlight, etc., which can cause pigment spots.
• Use sunscreen (SPF 30-50) to prevent the reappearance of pigment spots and to avoid skin irritation.
• Do not use new, untested facial skincare products, as the AHA/BHA and TCA acids can actively potentiate the activity of these products, which can have both positive and negative effects.
Who should avoid undergoing the Dermaceautic Milk Peel treatment?
• Clients taking vitamin A acids;
• Pregnant women;
• People who will be directly exposed to UV radiation.
